The debate on nepotism in Bollywood keeps on getting surfaced every now and then but this time, a video clip of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has brought this topic out of closet. While Aishwarya hasn’t slammed or criticized anyone, she was just responding to a question about actress Alia Bhatt.

Alia Bhatt hails from a filmy background as her father Mahesh Bhatt is a famous director and her mother Soni Razdan is an actress. She made her debut in 2012 with Karan Johar’s “Student of the Year” in which she worked with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. After that, she did many movies with Dharma Productions such as “2 States”, “Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania”, “Dear Zindagi”, “Badrinath ki Dulhania”, etc.

In the video, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan states that she has to say to Alia as well that it is fantastic for her. The former Miss World adds that the support that KJo is providing to her from the start of her career is comforting as the actor knows that it is not tough for her. Aishwarya further states that it is great for an actor when there are only good chances ahead but at the same time, the “Guru” actress also praises Alia by saying that the good thing is that she is also doing a good job with great opportunities falling in her lap on a regular basis.

This video clip left Twitterati divided as many slammed Alia for the opportunities that she got and on the other hand, there were some who tried to troll Aishwarya by reminding that her husband Abhishek Bachchan is also a product of nepotism.
