In the first season, there are five teams which are taking part in the league and they all have a loyal fan base but fan base of one WPL team is so pissed off with their favourite team that they themselves are trolling it. Alyssa Healy led UPW overpowered RCB in all the segments of the game, whether it was batting, bowling or fielding and Alyssa Healy led her team from the front as she played a blistering knock of 96 runs not out for which she faced only 47 balls and smashed 18 fours and 1 six.

The toss was won by RCB and it chose to bat first but the Bangalore team could manage only 138 runs in 19.3 overs and Ellyse Perry was the highest scorer for RCB as she scored 52 runs (39 balls, 6 fours & 1 six). Sophie Devine was the second highest scorer for the team and she scored 36 runs for which she played 24 balls and her innings included 5 fours and 1 maximum.

UPW chased the target of 139 runs without losing any wicket and with 7 overs remaining in its innings. Alyssa Healy who was adjudged as the Player of the Match got good support from Devika Vaidya (36 runs not out, 5 fours) and they both ensured that their team did not lose any wicket till the end.
