“Virat Is Not A Person To Be Poked, No Point Poking The Bear,” Warner Compares Kohli With Bear
The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the most talented batsmen of the world but he is also famous for one more thing and that is his aggression. However, he is not the only one who is known for aggression; Australian cricketer David Warner is also quite popular because of his on-field arguments with the players of opposition.
Sledging has been a part of the game for the Australians and the present day Indian cricketers don’t mind giving it back to the opposition so cricket fans are of the opinion that a lot of sledging will take place this year when India will visit Australia later this year. Nevertheless, David Warner who had indulged in verbal spats with Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, etc. earlier thinks otherwise as now he is in no mood to sledge the Indians, especially Virat Kohli.
While talking to India Today, David says that a person like Virat Kohli should not be poked and he further compares the Indian skipper with a bear. Warner also accepts the fact that the Indian squad was a better side when they visited last and he is quite eager to play against India once again.
David Warner has also expressed his views over playing against India in empty stadiums and states that it will be unreal playing against India without audiences in the stadium. Warner says that last time, the bowling of India was ruthless and if we talk about the present scenario, they have the best batting lineup that Australian bowlers will like to target. He also adds that Indian crowd will love to see the contest between Indian batsmen and Australian bowlers.
Warner also says that he will like to play the IPL if the government grants him the permission. In fact, he is of the opinion that the majority of the players who have been bought by the IPL franchises would like to play the league if they are allowed by the Cricket Australia.
David Warner is the skipper of the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad and the team has also won the title once under his leadership.
