This waterfall is known as Kalu waterfall which is in the Malshej Ghat region of Maharashtra and is quite a famous tourist attraction. The water flows upwards in Kalu waterfall because of the strong winds that flow upwards.

This waterfall which is at the height of 1200 feet has its origin in Harishchandragad mountains and it flows through Khireshwar village. This fascinating attraction is just 130 kms far from Pune and the best time to visit it is September-October because it is a seasonal waterfall and gets dry in summers while it may be risky to visit it in the monsoons.
Well, there are some other waterfalls in the world in which water flows upwards due to strong winds, a couple of them are in India while few of them are overseas.
