Anupam Kher got his big break in 1984 when director Mahesh Bhatt gave him the role of an older man in his movie “Saaransh”. Anupam’s performance was lauded by audiences as well as critics and what made his acting more special was the fact that he was just 28 years old at that time.

Recently, Mahesh Bhatt appeared in Arbaaz Khan’s show in which he made an interesting revelation. The director who has given many superhit movies such as “Aashiqui”, “Sadak”, “Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin”, “Zakhm”, etc. disclosed that Anupam still gives him money after every successful movie as it was he who gave Anupam break in the movie industry.

Mahesh Bhatt has launched many actors in the industry over the years and when Arbaaz Khan questions him about the cut that he demands from Anupam Kher and Emraan Hashmi, the “Gumraah” director says that Emraan Hashmi is a tightfisted person and he has paid him only once but Anupam Kher pays him after every successful movie and last time he paid him was when his movie “The Kashmir Files” turned out to be a blockbuster.
