Salman Reacts To Palak’s Low Neckline Remark, Says “Jitni Dhaki Huyi Hongi, Better Hai”
Salman Khan starrer “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” got mixed response on the box-office and it won’t be wrong to say that the movie didn’t perform as per the expectations of the trade experts as it took 10 days in touching the Rs. 100 crore mark.
Palak Tiwari, daughter of actress Shweta Tiwari, made her debut in the industry with this flick but she also made headlines because of a statement that she made during the promotions. Apart from “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan”, Palak was also associated with Salman Khan and Ayush Sharma starrer “Antim: The Final Truth”, not as an actor but as an assistant director, and during the interview, she said that Salman Khan has a rule that the neckline of the dresses worn by the women on the sets should not be very low, they should be covered properly like good proper girls.
Palak Tiwari gave an explanation on her statement after people slammed Salman Khan online and criticised him for having double standards. Palak explained that her statement was misunderstood and she was talking about herself as she has decided to follow some guidelines in regard to how to dress around those who are senior to her and whom she has idolized including Salman Khan.
Recently, Salman Khan appeared in Rajat Sharma’s talk show Aap Ki Adalat in which he answered questions related to various issues including the issue of double standards. Salman says that when a decent movie is made, the whole family goes to watch it, there is no double standard because he feels that bodies of the women are more precious and the more they are covered, the better it is.
Salman Khan further adds that the problem is with men and not women and he doesn’t like the manner in which men stare at the women of your house, your mother, wife or sister. He goes on to say that he also tries to ensure the lead actor in the movie does not stare at the actress in the same manner.
